Painting #48 - Well, I've completed my third painting using size as a focal point. I enjoyed thinking about what colours and what size of shapes to place where. I find it difficult to paint straight lines and to keep all the shapes from looking like they are slanting upward or downward. I'm going to continue with my abstract series based on messages we receive through technology.
Very cool Tammy! I find straight lines hard too. Not good when you're trying to be representational..lol How's the weather in your neck of the woods?
ReplyDeleteHello my friend! Great to hear from you. How's the weather you ask? My husband shovelled about 8 times today. The trees are bent over with at least a foot of heavy snow. The flakes fell ALL DAY LONG!!! However, that didn't stop me from getting out to buy a new pair of shoes LOL.
ReplyDeleteAnyways, sorry I haven't commented on your stunning work lately but I must let you know that you continue to inspire me. I've been getting ready for our spring show (Beacon Original Art). I have three more abstracts that I want to finish and all the business stuff keeps me hopping. Back to teaching next week after a week off for spring break.
Hopefully, I'll see you in July. I'm visiting family in Stratford.
