Painting #33 - These shoes were a bit tricky to paint - there was a lot of shine and subtle patterns. I like the composition and the positioning of the shoe laces. I wish that I would have put a few more washes over the shoes so my values would have blended more smoothly.
Too cool! We DO have the same shoes. Actually, my friend gave me these. They are too small for me but I love painting them. Nice to have found your blog!
ReplyDeleteAH HA! I get to see the purple version - beautiful! I actually bought a black pair only to realize I couldn't walk in them (even though they were the right size), so I returned them. I'm starting to think I should have kept them so I could have tried my hand at painting them!
