Painting #208 - I saw these cattails while walking along the Avon River in Stratford Ontario. I had big ideas for paintings these beautiful plants, however, I'm glad I did this small study first. I don't think this subject matter lends itself to a larger painting ... or maybe it does but what could I use for the "wow" factor?
